Scopus AI Is Now Available to Our Star Researchers!
Thanks to our University’s Scopus AI subscription, our star researchers can now analyze the literature using an AI-powered analysis platform. Scopus AI scans millions of academic publications in seconds to generate summaries that provide a big-picture view of the subject, identify relevant experts, and highlight new areas of research.
Yıldız Technical University, which continuously strengthens its research infrastructure with a vision for digital transformation, has added Scopus AI—the new version of Scopus, one of the academic world’s most comprehensive databases, enhanced with “generative AI”—to its library collection.
Available to our faculty and students across all our campuses and via remote access as of December 1, 2025, the platform represents a shift in research methodology.
Eliminating the time wasted on traditional keyword-based searches, Scopus AI analyzes researchers’ complex scientific questions in a matter of seconds. The AI engine, which scans a vast body of literature published from 2013 to the present, transforms its findings into clear, understandable, and cited summaries, serving as a compass for researchers in the ocean of information. With this initiative, our university aims to minimize the time researchers spend on hypothesis development and literature reviews, enabling them to focus on value-added research.
Reliable Information Flow
Specifically developed to counter the risk of “hallucination” (generating incorrect information)—a common issue with AI tools—Scopus AI operates on the principle of transparency. By verifying the academic source of every sentence it generates with footnotes, the system ensures that researchers have access to data-driven and evidence-based information.
Interdisciplinary Expert Discovery
The platform not only answers current questions but also suggests interdisciplinary connections and new research areas that researchers might otherwise overlook. Through the “Featured Experts” module, the world’s most cited and active scientists in a given field are mapped, opening the door to potential international collaborations.
Access Details
All our researchers can log in to the system using their institutional accounts at www.scopus.com and begin using this next-generation assistant via the “Scopus AI” tab on the homepage.
We hope this information is helpful.
