Who Can Use YTÜ Libraries and How?
External Users (Non-University Members):
Master’s and doctoral students from other universities, faculty members, researchers, and YTÜ alumni may use the library under certain conditions. However, these individuals cannot borrow books.
-How to Apply? How Long Can You Use the Library?
External users may apply via email at ktddb@yildiz.edu.tr by submitting a photocopy of their institutional ID and a written request. If approved, they will receive a letter of authorization allowing them to use the library for up to one month. They cannot use library services outside of this period.
- Use During Exam Periods:
Due to high traffic during exam periods, external users may use the library between 09:00–19:00, excluding exam weeks (including the week prior to exams). During this time, only general study areas are available; individual and group study rooms are closed to external users.
