Orientation & User Training

Our Library and Documentation Directorate organizes training programs to introduce our users to the Library and its information resources, and to help them develop skills in scientific research and methodology.

Orientation and Individual Training Program: This program is organized for all faculty members and undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students during the academic term to ensure effective use of library resources. These training sessions cover topics such as the use of electronic publications and research techniques. Physical tours of the library conducted during the academic term are also included in the general orientation programs. These sessions can be organized upon request from individuals or groups, or they can be planned by the Library unit.

User Training Program: This program is designed to enable users to make the most effective and efficient use of all resources available at the library. It aims to inform users about the use of databases and the library catalog, as well as other library services.

Training Sessions:

  • Based on requests from faculty members, within the requesting faculty member’s course,
  • or within the library based on individual or group requests.
  • Training sessions are scheduled based on availability in the calendar.
