As of October 6, 2026, Turnitin’s AI detection feature will include support for Turkish, German, and Dutch.
Turnitin’s AI detection feature is currently available in English, Spanish, Japanese, and Arabic. With the addition of these new languages, AI detection will be available in a total of seven languages.
No retroactive AI detection results will be generated for works uploaded to the Turnitin system prior to the launch of Turkish, German, and Dutch language support. To use the AI detection feature in these languages, works must be re-uploaded to the system after October 6, 2026.
